Serum Blushes

I’m a big fan of anything dewy for the face, and when it comes to blushes, it’s one of my top criteria! I just can’t go back to the matte life yet. The Em Cosmetics Serum blushes are so highly raved about and I can definitely see why. I’ll be reviewing two of their original shades along with three of the newly launched ones!

They retail for $25 each (.34 oz) and I’ll be talking about shades Soft Coral, Soft Amethyst, Little Lilac, Peachy Peach, and Cherry Splash.

Mixed all the five shades together for this blush masterpiece.

What I love so much about these is that the formula is unlike any blush I’ve used before. It’s truly a serum-y liquid, with a slight slip of an oil. You only need the tiniest bit, but even if you use too much, they blend out so beautifully and sheer. Especially in the sunlight (and GOLDEN HOUR), the blush makes the cheeks look super duper juicy. I’m obsessed with the finish and am so amazed that the formulation is barely noticeable and not heavy at all.

Now for a breakdown of the shades:

Soft Coral: a true bright pink coral that gives the right candy pop to the cheeks

Soft Amethyst: a milky mauvy purple, giving a moody sunburnt look (love an emo vibe)

Little Lilac: a vibrant lilac in the bottle, but blends to a light touch of cool tone purple

Peachy Peach: exactly like what it sounds like! A light muted peach, perfect for any and all looks

Cherry Splash: a true deep but bright cherry shade for the ultimate classic makeup look

Most unique shade is definitely Little Lilac, but most wearable (and what I reach for the most) are Soft Amethyst and Peachy Peach. Hope you guys like these as much as I do and would love to hear your thoughts!
